Course summary

This course targets the Biology GCSE AQA syllabus topic - Inheritance, genetics and variation. The course starts off by covering all the key facts needed to understand the theory of the topic, before outlining the tips and tricks needed to pick up marks in the exam.

  1. Introduction to the topic: explain the different types of reproduction and the advantages and disadvantages of both, explain the human genome and explore the structure of DNA. (3 topics of higher level content not included here)
  2. Genetic inheritance: genetic crosses, sex determination, inherited disorders and work of mendel
